We did this fall wedding duotone set for Anastasia and Robert around this time last year. The set had been photographed and ended up being used in a few displays for wedding shows. Meanwhile, we completely overlooked adding a pic to the blog for all to enjoy. The set was based on our Spring Leaf design and produced on a natural white paper with a wonderful fall color pallet. An absolutely darling invite suite for a fantastic couple!
Katie Evans has been involved here at Dick and Jane for years. She started as an intern helping out with all sorts of projects as she finished school. We recently commissioned Katie to help us create this totally jaw dropping letterpress invitation design. Every letter, every line, completely hand drawn by Katie. We're calling it "Love Blooms Eternal". The design was released at the October TCBA Wedding Show in Minneapolis receiving a wealth of positive feedback. We've since begun the fall/winter process of working on a collection of new designs for the Spring season. Katie will be creating at least 2-3 more illustrations in her one-of-a-kind style. Each of Katie's designs (including Love Blooms Eternal) are being added to the collection line up. Clients simply submit their text and Katie illustrates the entire piece. 100% hand drawn, hand lettered, and 100% guaranteed to knock peoples socks off!

Here's a quick shot I took the other day while trying to gather, sort and catalog a bunch of our recent work. The letterpress coasters have been super popular as well as the more vibrant color choices with letterpress invite suites. Was a wonderful success! We had a blast. Greeted over 1200 brides in just around 5 hours. Our heads were on a swivel and it appears that we were well received. Many thanks to TCBA for organizing the show, My wife for being so thorough with our booth branding, Dan at Speedpro for knocking out the large format stuff so quickly, and Matt VDB from Instant request for giving us all those great pre-show tips! We'll be back this January so be sure to visit us at the next wedding show!
