Woo Hoo! We found the good news last Wednesday night! Dick and Jane Letterpress was named MSP Weddings Magazines Diamond Awards winner for the category of Best Invitations for 2013! Maybe once every week or two we get a request wondering if we can letterpress white onto a dark color paper. Well... yes. We actually apply a white foil stamp which gives a 100% opaque result on any color paper stock. Here is a pics of a recent project which features white foil stamping on French Kraft stock.

Natalie and I have been playing with Instagram for a while now and finally decided to get something going the shop! We have an awful lot of work coming and going through the shop on a daily basis yet less than 5% ever makes it to the blog. We're hoping the Instagram will help with that! Julie and Grant had me in type heaven! Working on this letterpress project was a lot of fun. The little bicycle illustration was the final piece that really made the set. These invites really fit their personality to a "T". 
We have a few new invite suites to release and this has definitely been a huge inspiration for one of the designs to come!
Posted this one a while back but it was just a quick pocket phone pic. Here we were able to break out the camera and actually snap a good pic while the sun was out. The rope, anchor and nautical starts went together really well and the rounded corners were the perfect finishing touch. Loves it!

Well we made it through another show. It's kinda funny gearing up for something like this. There are so many ways to present yourself and try to sell your product that it can get confusing.
